Here We Think Differently About Balance

Welcome to my little corner of the internet: Here we think differently about Balance

There comes a point in a woman’s life when pushing harder simply stops working.

When the productivity strategies, the wellness checklists, the “just wake up earlier” advice no longer land.

You’re not lazy. You’re not unmotivated. You’re likely just tired of carrying too much.

I created this space for women who are holding everything; careers, households, children, relationships, aging parents, all those expectations and still wondering…

Is there another way to live well?

My Path Here

For years, I worked in marketing, business development, and category management. I understood growth, performance, and results.

At the same time, I was deepening my personal study of yoga, meditation, and Ayurveda as means to cope “better”.

Over time, I came to realise this:

We don’t need more intensity.

We need time. Tools to regulate. Better rhythm.

And more permission to live at a human pace.

What “Lagom” Means to Me

Lagom is a Swedish word often translated as “just enough.”

But to me, it is more than moderation.

It is:

• Enough movement to feel alive

• Enough stillness to feel steady

• Enough ambition to feel purposeful

• Enough rest to feel whole

Not extremes. Not burnout disguised as discipline. Not self-care that feels like another task.

Just enough, enoughness.

Why I Focus on Women in Midlife

Women over 40 experience stress differently.

Our nervous systems change. Our hormones shift. Our tolerance for noise. internal and external, decreases.

And yet the demands often increase.

Through yoga, somatics, meditation, and Ayurvedic living, I help women:

• Understand their stress patterns

• Care for their nervous systems

• Build sustainable daily rhythms

• Redefine balance on their own terms

What You’ll Find Here

On this blog, I’ll write about:

• The nervous system and modern motherhood

• Ayurvedic rhythms for real life

• Somatic approaches to stress and tension

• The invisible load women carry

• Books and ideas that shape how we live

This is not a space for perfection. It’s a space for recalibration and integration.

If You’re New Here

You don’t need to overhaul your life and you certainly don’t need to optimise every hour. You may simply need a different framework. If that resonates, I’m glad you’re here.

You can:

• Join my weekly letters on Substack HERE.

• Explore my offerings

• Or simply read and reflect at your own pace

Either way, I’m so glad you are here.
